Bringing visions to life

The Impact(ful) Management approach to events

Whether it's an intimate guest speaker session, a grand progressive dinner for hundreds, or a vibrant community festival, Impact(ful) Narrative brings a wealth of experience to the table. At the heart of every successful event we deliver are
meticulous planning, strategic communication, and expert stakeholder engagement.

Our approach begins with fundamental questions:

  • Who is your audience, and what are their needs and desires?

  • How can we translate your vision into a memorable experience?

  • What's the budget we're working with?

We pride ourselves on achieving a "champagne taste" on a "shoestring budget." This is made possible through our strong supplier relationships, a deep understanding of funding applications, and our ability to craft compelling sponsor benefits that create win-win partnerships.

Here are two events that truly exemplify our event management capabilities:

The Culinary Crawl (2020-2023)

A signature progressive dinner experience, the Culinary Crawl transformed Onehunga's winter season. Hosted annually from 2020 to 2023, the event's core purpose was to spotlight Onehunga's blossoming hospitality scene and generate significant activity for local venues during what is typically a quieter period.

Guests purchased tickets in groups of 12-15 for a "surprise crawl," experiencing three distinct courses across three
different Onehunga venues. This format encouraged venues to showcase their best offerings, while guests embraced the
adventure with an open mind. We also encouraged live music in venues through subsidies, ensuring a lively atmosphere at
each stop. To manage expectations and budget, there was a set price per head, per course.

Beyond the dining, we curated additional entertainment such as street music, a photo booth, and public art installations,
keeping participants engaged and entertained between venues. The Culinary Crawl consistently received excellent
feedback, saw a high rate of repeat guests, and achieved sell-out status every year through strong word-of-mouth.

Lunch with Gilbert Enoka (2023)

In 2023, as part of a drive to broaden engagement with Onehunga businesses, we orchestrated a professional lunch
featuring former All Blacks manager, Gilbert Enoka. This event, held at Royal Oak Bowls, offered tickets for individuals or tables of ten, creating a flexible and accessible format. A delicious paella lunch was catered by local Onehunga business, Paella Pan.

Priced at $25 for members and $75 for non-members, the event was pitched as a unique opportunity to enhance mental skills. Given Gilbert Enoka's global reputation as a leader in high-performance culture, 80 guests eagerly attended, keen to learn from one of the best in the field. The event successfully attracted a wider demographic of business professionals, demonstrating our ability to deliver high-calibre experiences that resonate with specific audiences.

At Impact(ful) Narrative, we believe that impactful events don't always need an extravagant budget. They require creativity, strategic execution, and a deep understanding of what truly connects with an audience.
